maisonade
“Maisonade” is a word I made up (I think). It is inspired by the French word “maison,” which means “house/home” and the English word “homemade.” Thus, “maison-ade” (to me) means “home-made.” I have long enjoyed blogs, especially blogs about DIY decorating. When faced with a restrictive allergy diet, food blogs have come to my kitchen’s rescue.
I had sometimes thought of starting my own blog, but hesitated. (There are a gazillion blogs already. Why write another one?) But some successful gluten-free, dairy-free biscuits (after MANY failed attempts) have compelled me to blog-land. Maybe someone missing biscuits will find this. How full this blog will become, I know not. But if you do anything, you’ve got to start somewhere. Why not start with biscuits? (And brownies after that.) 🙂
